I'm NOT snowed in here in Florida, but do feel sorry for those of you that are since I'm originally from Indiana(only been in FL. for 6 yrs.). I'm hand quilting a quilt for my older brother, making some lounging pants for my DH, and working on 3 Christmas quilts for my DGD's.

I am snpwed in here in north central Texas. We live in the country, and there is just no plan for heavy snow here. This is Day 5. But I am happily quilting, reading, and drinking hot tea. I just started a quilt from fabric I got for Christmas. It is my second attempt to use this fabric, as I was not happy with my first plan for it.

So I have spent most of my "time off" planning to make sure I like this pattern and fabric together, but I do. It's for me. Most of my quilts are for me...selfish me. :)

raining here today. Our children just surprised us with fresh bakery donuts and a visit . Came to say happy anniversary. I'm ready to do a little light cleaning and then working on a baby quilt.

We are having a warming trend here, only 21 degrees, so if the
quilting room is warm enough I am quilting on my Mega Quilter.
I won the lotto blocks for February, 40 blocks, each one is a heart. I am going to try and feather around each heart.

No quilting but granddaughter asked for a "home made pink nightgown" so that's what I am almost through with.

Guess I should have remembered that the whole world is not having our weather! I was just wondering what others do when they can't leave home. Some fun projects going on out there. Thanks for sharing everyone.

    Hope you feel better soon.

Is it mean if I tell you that we have the most delicious sunshine and DH is outside mowing the grass with just his flannel shirt on? I have to prep some hors d'euvres for a housewarming party we get to attend.
