I'm working on mug rugs for a friends St. Patty's Day party and I decided to make a table topper using the 10 minute block method. It turned out great. Just have to finish the quilting on one block and put the binding on. (I'll post a pic. when I'm done)

Then it's back to the UFO's that I promised to complete.

I am working on a quilt for DGS. All of the other Gkids got theirs on Christmas. His Bday was Jan 14. I was going to have it done by then, but we have been having a crisis in our family and it has been real hard to take time to work on it. Now that I have calmed down (some) I am trying to get it done. It is very simple (may be too simple) and I just want to get it finished! I have several WIP. Guess I always will. Lord willing.

Walked the dogs. Finishing up the last of the hand quilting on my Celtic Knot quilt. Then spending the afternoon cooking up appetizers for the Super Bowl game tonight. I have requests for Jalapeņo Poppers / chicken wings / potato skins and nachos. Someone asked for Taco salad but alas..no lettuce and its too awful to drive to town to the grocery store today!

Be careful! The snow coming down here is that wet sticky big stuff - I always worry about people over doing it shoveling - that stuff is heart attack snow! It weighs a ton!

I got a new puppy last week so sewing has been a little crazy because he goes after my machine cord.

Not snowed in but have record breaking cold. Below 0. Water pipes froze then burst. Were without water from Wed. p.m. til yesterday afternoon. Too cold to be out so I've been working on my first string quilt. Trying to use up some of my scraps. It' so fun! Stay warm you guys!
