Does anyone know if this machine can be converted to a treadle. Thank you.

You can put a spoke handwheel on it, take the motor off (if it's a belt driven motor) and put it in treadle. If it's a potted motor, you can't do it.

Thank you so much. It is a potted motor. I really, really wanted a treadle and since the motor wasn't any good, I thought I could convert it. If you have suggestions as to where I can purchase a new motor, your advice would be greatly apprerciated. Thank you so much.
