    can someone tell me if the gears are metal, I want one for my collection but don't want it if it's all plastic

    Thanks, I saw this on HSN and really, really wanted one but at this time cannot afford to buy something unless I need it. Thanks for your feedback.

    I believe I read the insides are metal, the outside is plastic (something like plastic).

    I just got an update from HSN - my machine is supposed to arrive tomorrow! Yay... I will be able to try it out this weekend!

    I am so happy to see this post - I asked a similar question but no one could tell me if they had one. So since its been a couple of months - are you still happy with your machine? I am thinking about adding one to my collection and possibly giving it as a gift to a friend who sews but not alot. I think its super cute and seems like a pretty good price. Just waiting to see if you ladies are loving it still.
