Singer 328
#1
My DH picked up a 328 in cabinet at a garage sale yesterday for $10. Haven't sewed with her yet, but she does stitch correctly. I have been looking online and even did a 328 search here for info and can't seem to find much. What is the general concensus on this machine?

It sews well - very nice satin stitch - not a "collectible," but a decent sewing machine.
Takes regular low shank attachments, flat design cams, ordinary 15x1 needles and class 66 bobbins, I think.
It's from the 60's, so it's not as likely to need re-wiring as the machines made in the 40's and early 50's.
Could sew for another 50 years if it's kept cleaned and oiled. :)
