Default Singer FashionMate 237 Yard Sale Find!!

My DH stopped at a yard sale on his way to the dump this morning. He called me with the news that he bought 2 Singer Sewing Machines for me. He knows that I have been blue about losing my Viking walking foot, and he wanted to cheer me up. The Singer FashionMate is a dream. It looks like the one I first sewed on years ago. The other machine needs help - it is a Singer Merritt 8834. He will work on both of them this week. He got them both for $17.00!!! They come from a smoker's house, and both are dirty, no attachments but I think I have alot of Singer attachments that may fit. Isn't he a keeper?

Your Dh is a sweetie, trying to make up for the missing walking foot!! That means you will find it now, you know! Great garage sale too!!

I am fond of my Singer 237 also.

In fact, I stuck my older grand-daughter with a Singer 401A instead of letting her have the 237.
