How are the Viking and Pfaff machines? I've heard those are really good sewing machines.
I have a Janome 6600 and a Gem portable and I love them. I got them at a sewing machine shop and they gave me. A great deal for buying both of them. That's another advantage of going to a small shop. Plus they let me try all the machines in the store.
