Can someone give me the site to determine when and where your Vintage Singer Sewing machine was made. I keep coming up at a dead end. Thanks

I tried to look one up today and it seems they've changed it again! :x Now all it shows is Serial Number and Year of Issue! Maybe someone can track it down on a new page. I'm watching...

I wonder why they changed it because they didn't close it.

    Hello

Where do people get hold of the actual date of manufacture/'birth'?

I've seen several posts on here stating their machine was 'born' on such-n-such a date, e.g. 7 March 1951, and I can find my year of manufacture (1951) but not a specific date for it - can anyone help?

    Many thanks!

    go to mySINGERstory.com
You can get a certificate to print and enter to win their 160th anniversary machine.
I just went there. it worked
You can also get a free manual at SingerCo.com

I went there and got the certificate, but where do you get the manual. I put my serial number in, but it said none was available. Did I not do it right? I liked the site better when it gave the birthdate and place of those vintage machines.

You can get a certificate but it doesn't tell you what model the machine is and if you don't have the model, you can't get the manual.
