Just realized the machine that was given to me because the people were moving is a Model 15 that was allotted in June of 1937 and was made in New Jersey. It has been converted from treadle to electric and needs some work on cabinet. Will post picture later as I'm not to swift with the digital and posting pics.
Not sure it has the correct bobbin in it but will be checking it out now.

MLT, you can find many items for your Singer 15 on ebay. It is a great machine....I have 2 of them....one changed to electric and one a treadle. Just be sure and verify that it is an actual 15 part....many of those old singer parts were interchangeable so I don't think you'd have a problem finding the correct bobbin if you truly need one.
Congratulations on your new machine.
