I moved last year and still haven't found my serger manual.
Can anyone tell me how to re-thread my serger?
I have looked online but can't find my model except to purchase a manual.
I just want to thread the dadgum thing today. My manual will show up someday.

And I know it is color coded, but which color goes first?

Perhaps call or drop by a Singer dealer ... I'm sure they would help you out!

... it could be they are with an IRL customer!
Also, look for a 1-800# to contact.
While you have tried online, try Mr. Google with some other combos of words than what you have used.

I did call the 1-800, get a busy signal every time.
I think I've almost got it done already without any help.
I am just not sure I am getting it right.
I thought somebody out there would still have one of these dinosaurs and could tell me right from wrong.

Now write it all down, just in case you forget when you go to do it another time.

I don't have a serger .... and the horror stories I've heard about threading them have kept me uninterested!!! :)

Yes, I will write it down.
They sure are nice once you get them threaded though. You just need peace and quiet, a tweezer and directions.
It didn't take that long once the phone quit ringing.
