SITD foot?

Maybe you could go to local sewing machine dealer and ask to try one on one of their demo machines? Take a little fabric "sandwich" with you to practice on....most dealers are more than happy to let you try their machines and accessories.

I just saw a Janome 1/4 inch foot with two attachments that work with the foot. One is for 1/4 inch edge of foot for making accurate seams and the other for doing stitch-in-the-ditch. I will check it out at the next quilt show at the Janome booth. so I don't know the price. I do find that the right foot helps greatly with what ever you are trying to do...
