I talked to my son today. He'll send me a picture as soon as they arrive home tomorrow. I will be able tell from there whether I need to ask more questions.

This is why I use quilted bedspreads. Even in the summer. You can always throw it off of you are too warm. (I hated the “whole comforter” sized bed blankets) besides, it reminds me of sleeping at grandma’s. ❤️

I have my answer. I talked to the bride. The bed is queen size with a thick mattress and has a bedskirt, so she wants an 18"drop. 96X98. I don't know how I'm going to quilt that, but I am committed to doing it, so it will work out. I know I'm going to lose a little with this thicker batting, but I don't think I'm going to worry about that. Thank you, everyone, for your responses.
