I have both and love them! I also got the laser lighted ruler, it's much easier on my eyes

Do you prefer the lighted edge or the clear version? I think this will be my birthday present and not sure which to buy. Eyes are getting less effective so I am thinking the lighted edge would be best, but would love to hear from others. Thanks

It's not really lighted, it's a green color that shows up in light. I have the clear one as it was the only kind available when I bought it.

I have no idea what this is. Does anyone have a link to show it and how much $ this costs. Sounds like it's expensive.

I just googled it as I'd never heard of it. It looks like a nice piece of equipment. Here's a link.http://quiltersslidelock.com/

When I bought mine it was only sold in Australia. I paid much more then it is now. I thought, would I rather give my money to this company or to the ER. At least I have something useful if I bought the ruler.
