Does anyone have a suggestion on how to keep your sewing machine foot pedal from sliding across the floor. I have put the non-skid rubber that you can use in kitchen cupboards underneath it but that doesn't work. Before you know it I am just about laying down sewing chasing my foot pedal. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have found that turning it backwards and pressing with your heel keeps it in place better. Also, for me, it gives me more steady speed control.

There was a great thread just on March 5th (check the "main" menu) that had tons of good suggestions!

Also Nancy's notions has hers on sale for 9.99 and it is fantabulous. If you don't want to spend anything, you can buy that rubbery stuff for shelves at the dollar store and glue it on. Lots of creative ways. Hope you get it stationary soon, I personally hate chasing those rascals all over. :)

the shelf liner only worked about 1 day for me too, however when I turned it backwards it doesn't seem to run off nearly as bad, I don't use my heel tho, mine is quite forward under the table so I still use my toes. works great

Was told to use a bathroom rug (one that goes around the toilet) put your pedal where the base of toilet would be. Got to put one on my list because never remember when at store!
