Sliding Ironing Board
Recently we bought a house that is total hardwoods. My ironing board keeps sliding to the right. I made little booties for the feet? that sit on the floor but they don't work. A large piece of anti-skid material you put under a rug does work, but have you ever tried to clean lint and strings off that stuff? Do any of you have a better idea?

They sell fabric for kids' pajama feet that looks like dots of "rubber". But I remember using puff paint to achieve the same effect. If you have some type of booties on your board feet, you could add puff paint.

Inexpensive option might be to wrap the feet with inexpensive( $ store) shelf liner. Used this product numerous ways while trying to do things with my left hand only. Cut into 2" strips and wrapped diagonally should probably get the job done without adding any wobble.

I don't know where you get them, but there are caps for the legs of the ironing boards that have little rubber grooves on them (my mom has them on her board) and that keeps it from sliding.
Here's some plain rubber caps that might work that I found on Amazon:
