I buy patterns from a lot of different places for my little GD. This morning in my E-mail was a message from Fairytale Frocks and Lollipops. They have some patterns for dolls called Slightly , weathered ladies. They are precious. FFL also has quilt patterns , Clothing patterns ,etc. But the ladies made my day. Too cute.

If you're going to purchase a pattern for one of these dolls, why not do so directly from the artist so she gets full credit AND full price (i.e., not half like she makes selling thru a retail shop). There's also a wider selection on her website...the price is the same. http://www.slightlyweatheredladies.com/patterns.html The artist is Jill Maas of New Zealand.

And, btw, there are a couple free patterns on the website...a mouse and birds and a face pin.

Thanks for that info. I would much rather buy from the designer.

I think that that is a gracious thing to call older ladies. I think I have a new obsession. From now on , I will call myself slightly weathered.
