Cool videos!! Apparently mine can do the 1/4 cuts too. Lol. I didn't know what that little line meant. Hahaha. And that was really cool how she did the octagons! Glad I love it, and super glad that this quilt board exists!!

Thanks to all & your great tips & insights. Being a newbie to the quilting world & lacking a lot of wonderful tools such as this...I feel the start of a christmas list. No more will I hear "don't know what to get you" I'll just pass the list. ;)
    thanks to all

I love love love mine. I have the 12" one and the one that will square up my 1/2 squares. I have just ordered the smaller one that will let me cut at 1/4" marks.

I first bought the Shape Cut (12" x 12") and loved it. Next I bought the Exact Eighths and the Half and Quarter Square and they are great. I use and Half and Quarter Square a lot just for trimming or marking, not just for 1/2 & 1/4 squares. I looked at the one with the 1/4" increments and decided not to get it because it is just too narrow. A few weeks ago, I got the Shape Cut Plus (12" x 18") and really love it. Walmart had the Shape Cut and Half & Quarter Square rulers on clearance, so I bought a spare of each.

You asked "is it just that wonderful?" My answer is a resounding, "YES!!!!!" I rarely use any other ruler.

Me too! I have the large June Tailor that cuts 2 1/2" strips. And I also have the smaller one with the slits every 1/2". I just wish that one was larger to fit the WOF. I figure I have cut enough jelly rolls and charm squares now to have paid for both of them. Definitely a wise purchase.

Wow thanks for these videos. I have one of the shape cut rulers. I could not figure out how to cut the shapes by their directions on the ruler. Now I have this saved in my favorites. I will use this as a reference.

However, do not care so much for the 1/4" increment because you have to fold your fabric so many times for it to work. Don't know why June Tailor did not make it as wide as the 1/2" increment. They are particularly great for cutting multiples of strips if you don't have a die cutter.

KathDavis - you should do a Google search for June Tailor Shape Cut Ruler or go to this site for more information: http://www.junetailor.com/videos.htm
Thanks for the link. I just watched the video and I think I need to go shopping!
