FYI - If you are worried about your ruler sliding, you can purchase dots made from sand paper that have an adhesive on the back side, just place these dots on the reverse side of your ruler along the top and bottom of each ruler - should be no sliding after that.

Thanks for the link to the video, I now know I must get one. The demo was very enlightening. Thanks for sharing.

I have the two of them and find that they are better than the Accuquilt for long strips because I don't get a sway in the fabric at the fold line as I do with the Accuquilt.

I've had mine for years and just recently started using it when I started quilting again. I love it for its accuracy.

Way cool, I have one of those from my mom, and thought it was only used to cut perfect squares for like T shirt quilts! This is great! Just shows how much more I need to learn.......

After reading all the comments on the slotted ruler I went on a web search and found these rulers are on sale at Quilting-Warehouse.com. I ordered the 20 x 23 inch and the 12 x 18 inch this morning. saved about 25%

I saw the demo and went looking for one. Let me tell you I would not be without one. I always look for the best value for my money. I found the best deal at WalMart on line. I got the 18 inch shipped to my store (no shipping) It was almost half the price then the other shops.

    Gosh,
I don't mean to rain on this parade but I have one and do not use it because my rotary cutter sliced off the edges when I used it. I laid it aside because I thought this made my 1/4" seams inaccurate. Also, I it dulled my blades. I purchased it about 5 or 6 years ago. Are they making them out of something that will "stand up" to the rotary blades now? Anyone with a newer one having this issue?
