The Good Wives (great local quilt shop) were having a sale yesterday so I didn't have to go to Small Business Saturday because I went to their Small Business yesterday and got some super material (to finish a quilt) at a great price. They said that they had been really busy all day.

I spent half the day at my LQS. It was fun!

I went to a very small quilt shop and found some awesome Christmas fabric. My friend also gave me a great Christmas center block that just needs borders and quilting and I'm taking it next week to the local rest home for someone that would enjoy it. I really like supporting the local shops.

Went to our small town downtown for lunch with dh and then to a couple of gift stores. Bought a Christmas tree quilt!

I met some friends for breakfast at a diner, then raced back home to pick up my friend and we went to an alpaca farm (they are SOOO cute, I call them 'llamas' good natured cousins') where we bought some yarn spun from the wool sheared from the cuties we had just been petting, then on to a LQS where I got some yardage and next door at the kitchy shop where we got Goat Boy Soap - made by a local entrepeneur. All in all, supporting local small businesses and got some neat stuff we could never get at Joann's or Hobby Lobby or CVS ... life is good!
