I know that is a problem but with little money you have to settle for less. I bought an Imperial metal frame that enlarges to the king size but had to settle for the Baby Lock Jane machine since the shop dosnt carry Brother.
It is the same as the Brother 1500s and made by the same company. Also got the stitch regulator.
My local shop matched the price for the frame and machine that Grace Company had on sale.
With the added stitch regulator for 499 and the tax and the set up (150 it takes 4 hrs) it cost me 2300.
The Imperial table on line at the cheapest price was 1299. So the table and the machine for 1500 was a good price.
The stitch regulator is not a sale item they all cost 499.
What kind of pantogram do you like best for the narrow space?

I like the simple pantograms. They are easier to follow and look neeter, less cluttered. I started doing a lot of free hand designs and am getting better. I have done feathering and it improves with each attempt. - I love the stitch regulator. When I got my machine and frame, the stitch regulator needed to be ordered and it was 2 weeks before it arrived. We got it on and - what a difference - . Enjoy your new machine and frame. I am so glad to have mine.

Thanks Debby, Im really looking forward to play time.
Later on if I ever get rich will check into a long arm machine. Little steps at a time.
Im so glad others like this set up, seemed to be the best way to go with little money.
