It was the same for me when I first came to this site but it has been kind of fun discovering all the meanings, they have my DH really amused, I get him guessing.

Waladopa, you mentioned that the search feature is annoying but your topic was titled "A Small Request"....had you titled it with something like "Quilting Abbreviations" you probably would have received more responses to your question. This is the main reason we have problems with the search feature in that the topics started in so many threads leave the viewer to wonder what they are questioning/needing help. You certainly aren't the first and won't be the last one.

The search feature doesn't know how/where to put it therefore it gets lost in the maze of other ambiguous topics. I am not in any way trying to criticize you but hopefully helping you to understand why the search feature seems so frustrating and annoying to many of us. It truly is a great feature for all of us but it is only as good as the topic creator describes their topic.

So before, I get jumped on for speaking the truth please everyone understand this was meant to help with a situation that could easily be resolved for the benefit of all members of the board.

    Quiltmaker,
    I do thank you.
I try to watch that, like the last picture of my latest quilt, I put the name of it in the subject line, not "just finished"
