    I've made a few King sized quilts and they were all square (each around 110" x 110".)

    It's going to be beautiful when finished...great fabric choice. Kudos to you for such a large project and I'm glad your injury wasnt too serious.

    Thank you jimoore..my hand is doing better but still hurts some, but will get better soon..Thank you for your concern and advice my snail trail quilt...

    I make 115x115 for my king bed. I do have a couple 100x100 from my old queen bed that I use sometimes. I say square is perfect for king size beds.

    My king-size bed is nearly square so I would leave it as is. That quilt is absolutely beautiful!

    I made one that big for my bed and, oh my, it took some maneuvering to sandwich it and then quilt it on my sewing machine. I don't ever want to do that again...but probably will some day.

    I recently did a King for our bed and shipped it out to Charisma to quilt it.. She did a nice job. Way too big for me to tackle! I did the same with my last one that size. Missouri Star quilted it. Also a nice job. King is huge!!!
