Must make an amendment to the measurements I gave in my earlier post. I tested it out and found the second round of triangles were too small - so if anyone wishes to try here are the altered sizes, in blue.

A - create a 4 patch with two 2" squares of light & dark fabrics. Trim if necessary to 3 1/2"
    B - cut one 3" sq both fabrics once on diagonal. Sew to the 4patch . " " 4 3/4
    C - cut one 4" sq " " once " . Sew to B block " " 6 1/2"
    D - Cut one 5" sq " " " . Sew to C block " " 8 1/2"

After adjusting the measurements, I hardly had to trim anything, except a smidgen at the end.

Thank you so much for this link.. This snail trail is so much easier then some of the other ones I have tried. I figures how to cut all the fabric out into strips and then cut them into squares and triangles. The cutting went so fast. I am now on to the sewing of the blocks and everything is going well without having to do to much squaring up. I just had to square up the HST block to 3 inch but everything else goes together really fast. The block ends up as a 20 inch block so that is pretty big and will go fast. I hope.. will post the finished quilt when it is done.. Again thanks for everyones help!
