    Is there another name for the snails tail. I would like to make a quilt using this pattern, but I am having trouble finding one.

    I maybe wrong being new to quilting but I thought it was called "Snails Trail"

    Another suggestion - google snails trail quilt pattern

    I've paper pieced 6" snails trail blocks and they turned out very well. Google snails trail paper piece

    Yes, and that's one of my favorite patterns!!! I prefer it with more than 2 colors though.

    I have an old pattern from the 70s that's very similar to the snails trail called a Virginia Reel.
