Just got my call, it's a snow day tomorrow. No school tomorrow so I get to sew all day. Hooray!

I hate the ice and snow, but if we have to have it, I'm glad I don't have to get out in it. I don't like that the rest of my family has to be out there.

My DIL teaches, and I'm also glad when she doesn't have to get out in the weather with the three little precious GC. However, she does have lots of time to make up because her school system has used 14 days so far.

Wow! Fourteen days is a lot. This will be our 9th day. State hasn't ruled yet to determine how many of those days we are going to have to make up. I fear we aren't done yet. March can be pretty hairy.

This is our third snow day for kids and our fourth for teachers since we had a bad storm on a workshop day. I was really counting on it though...the kids were a little wild yesterday. I'm blaming the bariometric pressure and the media hype. :) I hope to sew, too!

I'm ready for this winter to be over. Sigh.
