Standing in line at grocery store, saw a quilting magazine, had to pick it up. It's a BH&G Spring/Summer 2011. On page 74 is quilt called "Fresh Air" but it's a 9patch and snowball pattern. Don't think I'll do the border--it's applique, rickrack trim and yo-yo's. Too fancy for me but will definitely do the regular pattern. It uses fat eights and cream tone-on-tone. Gives good instructions for those of us who need step-by-step.

snowball + 9-patch is one of my favorites as the blocks are so easy and they make a nice pattern when put together. be sure to post when you finish yours.

Interesting you should post this now. Someone posted a picture recently. I figured out it was a snowball and I nine patch, so I have been pulling out fabrics for my next prayer quilt. I want to start it because it has roses, but I need the current one done ASAP.

I have a lot of quilt books and I sometimes go thru them and write down the quilts I want to make "someday". There is a red and white nine patch and snowball quilt that is always on my list.awwwwwwwwww someday. Also I always lose the list. good luck with yours. FayZ
