Many thanks and blessings to all that participated. What a wonderful gift to make something out of love and share that with all those men. God was smiling down on you all!!

    Jan,
Thanks so much for printing this letter. Even those who could not help directly love to hear what has been accomplished and what a blessing your project has been to our military. It is a huge blessing to hear about the countless donations of time, materials, and money. It restores my faith that there are still lots of wonderful people out there, even in this often yucky world. God is amazing, and so are you!

Jan, will you be doing this project after Christmas? I'm bogged down with Christmas projects, but would love to contribute a quilt after the holidays. This is so inspiring and worthwhile. Thank you for this. bobbie

Yay! Incredible thank you letter Jan. I can't believe this will end January 2011. I know all of us who participated feel like we know all these soldiers personally. There's liable to be major withdrawls when the project ends.

Soooooo Are there any other board members who would like a bunch of help from us quilting addicts?

Would this quilt work for the project? It's 53X60 and red, white, and blue. I made it to try out the pattern.

Is there a link to where the picture was posted. I've read through all the posts on this thread and didn't see it. Would love to see the pictures. What a blessing for both the one who receives and the giver. I didn't participate in the project but am proud to call myself a "quilter" if only to have friends like those who did. God bless those who serve and their families.
