I agree with Susan. You can talk to me but when someone grabs me they should expect the worse part of me to come out. You really handled it like a lady. It seems the older I get ( I am 63) the more outspoken I am.

Oh thanks for sharing. She actually man-handled you????? Dang - she's lucky she still has her arm. ROFL. Glad to know your DH understands that you are woman and is content to sit back and listen to you roar.
Still laughing and imagining the scene.

The first quilt I made had several problems, mostly a result of me not knowing exactly what I was doing and just playing it by ear. The quilt was returned to me for repair about a year later so I gladly fixed it up so it could continue to be used. The mom of the little girl I made the quilt for was all apologetic about the dog and the little brother getting hold of the quilt and messing it up. I told her if I'd made my seams a bit bigger and tied the ribbons more securely in the first place it wouldn't have been a problem.

Like everyone else I am chuckling at this nervy broad (she was no lady in my book!!! ;-) ) I can't help but wonder if she is suffering from an ugly menopause ~ I've seen some really nice ladies turn quite ugly when flashing.

Good for you! I wish I had been there to witness that exchange.
She doesn't want to see my first quilt. The 100% cotton has disintegrated and the 50/50 poly-cotton fabric is still there. The quilt survived my daughter and 100s of washings. My dog now uses it.
