I can't believe a complete strange did this to you! Goof for you for sticking up for yourself. Would it have killed her to say "Sorry"? Some people!

I think I have a little quilt police in me. My dad had a quilt thrown across a bunch of coroplast in the back end of his pickup to keep the rain off the plastic while he traveled 150 miles to my sister's house. I about had heart failure and chewed him out. The quilt was made by my great grandmother and was still in excellent shape. I traded him a large carpet for the quilt and it is now residing on my guest room bed.

I must say the story is kind of funny. Obviously both you and her love quilts but how the love is expressed is different. Bizzar though she would just do that to a stranger.

No you don't have quilt police you are quilt rescue. Bravo for you and your dad probably got better cover for the coroplast so everyone should be happy.

Hooray for you. May you stand on your quilt for many more years.

I hear you. My kids are pretty good in enjoying and using the quilts I make for them but some of the people I made quilts for have them on the wall or stored away. Mind you some payed big money and they store the quilt. I know they did like it because they had a me do a second quilt. Part of the joy of quilting for me is knowing that my quilts are loved. I really enjoy making quilts for kids for that reason.

Wow. That lady's gonna get hurt if she keeps laying hands on people over nothing. You'd think she'd have a better sense of right and wrong just based on the location of the event and the holiday occasion.

I made a deeply meaningful picnic quilt. Sitting and standing on it are its only purpose. Send the crazy lady my way. I have a story for her.
