Have fun! my first retreat could have been smelly! I had my jeep packed with sewing things, stopped to think because I had a missing something feeling. I had not packed any clothes or shower things! ;

I am going to a lovely retreat here in ky. In late Sept. Mon. Through Friday, 120 gals from all over, they have classes or you can choose to just sit and sew, I took a class last time, this time I am just doing the sit and sew. I have several projects I want to get done and this is the perfect time to get them done. 4 log cabin quilts and a Ohio star quilt. At home alone some times I just do not have the get up and go I need to get with it, lol. I am going to take a couple of my painted ladies and as many blocks as I can fit in my craft carrier, have to take a finished quilt for my bed as we have a show and tell night and so nice walking through as you get to see so many quilts and they have a bunch hanging on the balcony s it is like a mini quilt show . each time you go to the cafatiria . such a lovely time, I hope you have a wonderful
L time!

Well have a wonderful time, enjoy your quilting and the social time to get to know other quilters, the great food and laughter. Then post the wonderful pictures of all the things you saw and did during your retreat. Great family to give
you this gift of love.
you this gift of love.

I have about 12-14 quilting friends and a couple of times a year we go on a retreat. Call around to retreat centers, church venues, and conference centers in your area and ask about minimum attendees and rates. You will not be sorry.
