Don't worry about what you look like or how you carry in your "stuff". Clean and oil your machine, take extra needles and have several bobbins wound. Take your old faithful that you know works well and the one you are most familiar with. Label all your tools so they don't grow legs and walk away. AND, most of all, enjoy yourself.

Sit in the front, wear comfortable clothing for you, and take the machine you're most comfortable working with. You paid for the time of the instructor, so ask as many quetions as you want to. Supplies in any old paper bag will do. You're the customer, not the instructor.

Should I bring my "good" machine or my plain jane old faithful?

Wish I lived close by and I would take all the classes. It looks like a great schedule. Just go with the plan to learn a new technique and don't be nervous. It will be a lot of fun.

Can't wait to hear all about your adventure! I'm taking my first class next Friday, Cathedral Windows. We're going to learn, not show off. No worries. You're going to come back so happy with all the new things you'll learn. Show us the blocks when you get home, please!
