Did you mention that you were making these to anyone or near your manager? That would be worse....If the manager knew you were making them and planning on the gifts for co-workers. If not....I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason. There is another place planned for the cozies. Hang there !!!!!!!

What a bummer but give yours out. Those who appreciate homemade gifts will truly appreciate the time and effort you took to make theirs.

Sounds like you both had great ideas, of course handmade is alwsys better, so give yours with a little note that says, heres one to keep as a spare that you made for them. :D

If you don't have someone to give them to, donate them to a senior center or a nursing home. There are many this time of year you receive no visitors or gifts.

DON'T FRET, GIVE THEM TO YOUR CO WORKERS ANY WAY, THE WILL LOVE THEM. I MEAN, YOU CAN'T HAVE TOO MANY COFFEE OR TEA MUGS.

I would give them to your co workers anyway but be sure to smilingly say to your boss....'TWO GREAT MINDS WITH THE SAME THOUGHT! How ingenious of you and me to give them such a cute and useful gift!" In that way, you give your gift and it won't look as if you were "one upping" your boss with homemade gifts. Works all around...win/win.....and that was so nice of you to do all of that work too! Happy holiday.

I would still give them. I predict if you are a coffee drinker you may need more than one. One at home, one in the office, one in the car, etc....
