I'm not Michael, but I wanted to jump in and say I love my Martelli rotary...wish I had gotten a leftie also, maybe next QuiltFest! Blade seems to stay sharper longer, and your hand doesn't get as tired when you are doing "production" cutting because the pressure is so much less even with up to 3 or 4 layers. The demo at the shows have many more layers, but I can't seem to manage to keep them from creeping when I do them at home! (Jacksonville, fl)

Mine JUST came in the mail yesterday, so I will be trying it out soon! BTW why do people get BOTH a right and a left, I'm right handed...but think trying to cut with my left could be disastorous??

They are designed to be one-handed, either left or right, or at least mine is, and although I have used mine left-handed (and I'm a leftie but do many things naturally right-dominant) its a little awkward. Be sure to watch the demo on the web; its all in the way you hold the cutter...
