Well, I always think of something an old boss of mine taught me on my first day of work for him. He was a dentist and told me that you never say "Woops". So when I make a mistake I just smile and go on with what I am doing. Makes the mistake seem not so bad.

i just use food words to swear. things like pickles, brownies, snukerdoodles, and when I need a big bad word i use supercalifragalisticiksbialidocius. (spelled phonetically) and if i get really really mad I sometimes let a bad word out. than feel horrible. I try and just use random words that pop into my head and they are mostly food related. I have little kids around and my dd is getting into the parrot stage and so i have to be real careful.

No kids in my household and I sew alone so I let fly with the ones that would make a sailor blush.

That's a good idea! Can't tell you what I say right now, but I will find a substitute.
