magazines are a vendor item in most stores, that what is carried is determined, in large by them. Each month a store gets a pull list to remove mags. The vendor then knows what sells or not & may adjust the selection. the vendor also determines how long a magazine is on the shelf!(used to do mags at MICHAELS)

I don't know if you know this but Mark is now with Fabric Trends. I haven't bought one lately but plan to today.
I didn't know that...thanks! I will watch for Fabric Trends too!
The same people bought Quilters Home and Quilters Newsletter. They bought one other magazine at the same time, but I can't recall which it was. I was just about ready to order a subscription to Quilters Home after reading a few of my friends magazines when I heard that Mark was stepping out of Quilters Home magazine. Your right, he made the magazine interesting with his own way of communicating things. It isn't the same now. They have ruined it as far as I am concerned, just like QN.

I have had subscriptions to all of them at one time or another. Finally realized I was never going to make all those quilts so I let them all drop out. Money got very short too. I have a sizable library and depend mostly on it for patterns.

I have begun letting my subscriptions run out and not reupping them. I've got enough of a collection to last me the rest of my life. I have to say that I have two favorites at the moment though. Quilter's World, and Quiltmaker. Still, I won't be renewing them either. 8-)

That's a tough one. But if I had to pick one, it would be Quiltmaker. Quilter's World comes in a very, very close second.
