My favorite is The Quilter's Magazine and then Quick Quilts. Fons & Porter have too many advertisements in them now and not enough projects, so as soon as my subscription runs out, I won't be renewing.

I like many of the Australian magazines. I look to see if there are any projects I just have to do and then pay the $$$$. The bummer is some projects are two part series. I figure that's better then a subscription that I'll never make anything. I do buy older quilting magazines at yard and rummage sales for inspiration and articles.

McCall's is the only one I get. It is a continual yearly gift from my daughter.

I used to LOVE Quilter's Home but since new people took over the writing...I stopped buying it...just not the same. Mark just had a way of making me laugh. I have so many piles of other quilt mags that I decided to stop for a while. I was buying them all and have enough patterns to last two lifetimes!

I took all of the above mentioned mag., but
stopped and started getting hard cover books
from Leisure Arts, House of White Birches, Quilt-Lovers
Favorites (Better Homes & Garden) Sewing with Nancy
books and DVD's. The internet has so many sites
that you can get information and patterns to make
that I no longer buy the magazines. Betty Lee

Thats my fav too (Minature Quilts) as i have most of them but i am missing a few. Between issues #1 and #72 i am missing 14 issues, so I have most. I have found a few at garage sales and secondhand places so be sure to check there. It is just so hard to find mags on minis nowadays. good luck in your search! :D

The only magazine that i have purchased so far is Quilter's World. I bought the online subscription because you are allowed to go back as far as 2005/06 to the previous years and download all the magazines. It gives you quite a bit of patterns then for the money. I think i paid $14.95 for it, and recieved all the old ones going back 5 years, plus all new ones for a year.
