Are you making good money with whichever organization you are hired by as a quilt police officer?"
Wow - I think we are twins, separated at birth, lol. That sounds like something I would say. Welcome to the Sar Chasm!

Who was that person. Some people are just so lonely being themselves they try to drag others down to their level. Don't listen to her. I'm sure your QUILTS are beautiful. Dumb lady.

My first and favorite memories of quilts were heavy, warm and all those wonderful red threads tied in knots all over it. I didn't know for years that they were ever made with stitched designs for quilting. Enjoy making your quilts and as others have said make sure they know what they are buying. Have a great quilty day!!

There are alot of mean critics out there, just ignore them; I doubt they could do any better, if they can do it at all. I have come across peope who buy there blocks from ebay and then have some else put them together and someone else to quilt it and then give it as a gift and say "I did it"..... nnoooooo no no. Hang in there with the rest of us; you'll do fine; we care and know what a real quilt is--3-layer; top, batting and back.

It sounds like some have their own view on what a quilt can be - how it is made etc. I'd ignore the comments. A quilt is a layer of fabric which keeps one warm from the elements of cold. No one says they have to be made of cotton material - I think someone is jealous you thought of this before they did.
