What are you getting ready to start? I am very curious. I love big cross stitch projects.

O my gosh girls! Ok ... those prices sound better! I will go and check out those sites when I finish posting to this thread. Thanks for looking around for me. I really appreciate it.

Maride, I bought the #414 "Merry Little Christmas" one chrissie showed her group was working on a couple weeks ago, a blackwork one called," Over the River and Through the Woods", and the basket one for fourth of july all from Crabapple Hill. I love thier patterns!

I get in a mood for embroidery and go with it for a stretch during the summer months. My gardening makes me so tired, that is all the energy I have to work on. LoL!

We have a Michael's, Ben Frankin's, Joann's, and Hancock Fabrics.

Threadart is a very good company to do business with. Have ordered several times from them. Last week I ordered on Sat & package came on Wed by regular mail but I am in Texas where Threadart is located. Don't know if that makes a difference, Very good prices.

The crabapple hill site is here.... It 51" x 51" and the images are very large.

    http://www.crabapplehillstudio.com/i...christmas.aspx

I am also embroidering the snowman image in the center like crissie's group did. Also I am making the Over the river one in the christmas patterns and making two fourth of july ones as gifts.

Like I said, I get on a roll doing these. LOL!

I stopped cross stitching when I took up quilting. I used to get them for 20 cents. Shocking how much it has gone up. If you find some colors hard to find, I might be able to help you out.

"Our" Hobby Lobby (30 mile round trip from here) has it for 3 for $1.00 not bad averages about 33 cents per skein. But with the price of gas, it's almost cheaper for me to order online I do believe LOL.
