Has anyone used Soft and Stable for their bow tuck (or any other for that matter) bags? I got mine today. It looks very nice.

I can't wait to try this. Just read about it yesterday and sent messages to 2 quilt shops to please order some.
Does it give the extra shape that the maker claims?

I think it does. I haven't finished my bow tuck yet but it does seem nice. It has more shape I think that one with batting in it. Trial and error I guess.

This stuff is very nice, but kind of expensive. It is only enough to do one large bow tuck. I really like it but I probably won't buy any more. With shipping and all it ended up being $33 so I'd have to say it isn't worth it.

Wow- I'd have to be sure that I would LOVE the bag I made with that, for that price. I'll have to think long and hard about using it.

Okay, update on this... I find that I ordered 2 packs of this at 11.95 each with 9.60 shipping. I only received 1, I am sure. It's still pretty pricey unless someone decides to carry it local I would think. It's good stuff though. I think I'll go the regular route.

I am so sorry for hijacking this thread but I feel I need to keep adding details as I don't want anyone NOT to buy this because I had a kinda bad experience. I did get an email from the lady that sells it yesterday. She said her friend was taking care of it for her for a few days, and she is sending me the missing packet plus a free pattern. This stuff is really awesome, but the question is do you want to pay the price for it. It makes a great bag but it is about $12 plus shipping. Would be nice if someone carried it where we could just buy it local, wouldn't it? Anyway, they are honest folk if you want to try it.
