    Has anyone in this group, made and mailed any of those requested shrouds. Remember we were going to use a twin sheet and applique some pattern in the center.....

    Well long story short, I made one, mailed it and it was returned....

    was it returned by the post office or the folks you sent it to?

    Are you sure it reads ANK and not UNK? UNK is unknown which means there may be a problem with the address you used. That sounds like the post office did it.

    ANK is Attempted Not Known. Did you have the hospital name on it? It also could have been a mistake. See if the hospital address is the same online as the one you have.
