I agree with platyhiker second design. Prior to seeing that one I was going to suggest you check out designs by Natalia Bonner on you tube, although she’s using a long arm it’s the design that is important. Good luck with your beautiful runner!

All I can think of when I look at it is the lavender blocks look like houses! I would play that up, with scalloped roof shingles, and bricks for the front with a door space left blank. The rest I would SITD and then if it needed it, maybe some echo quilting in spots. Very nice runner! Good luck !

Love it! If I were you, I'd look into Angela Walters' dot-to-dot quilting. The basic idea is to create geometric patterns within triangles using the corner seams as a guide. I think this quilt would lend itself well to that style. Angela recommends not using a walking foot, but to do free motion, but on a piece this small, you could definitely do it with a walking foot.
