OK, so dumb question of the month - What is EQ5? and why does everyone seem to want it.

It's Electric Quilt software, version 5. This is software that lets you plan out and design new quilts on the computer -- a different method than, say, using colored pencils on graph paper. :)

And EQ7 is now out. EQ5 is pretty old, and there was a huge upgrade (better user interface) with EQ6. The ad doesn't state whether the software has been opened/registered/used. Those are important questions if you're thinking about buying it.
