Congratulation! Grandkids make having their parents first worth the headache! I made a "don't want to know the gender" quilt for my friend's grandbaby out of oranges, lime greens, and bright yellows. It's still one of my favorites.

being a grandmother is the most wonderful thing. I have a 21 month old named Isabella, Boo for short. She would not let the doctor or anyone else see her private parts until the month #8....but did that stop me from making quilts, NO
Isabella had 8 baby quilts and now I'm making bigger ones. I just have quilted a pink and chocloate brown cupcake. I'm taking to South Carolina for her second birthday May 20th.

    You sew girl

How about something that has pink AND blue in it. I was playing in my EQ5 last night and came up with this. The center square could be fabric with something cute like duckies or puppies.

Congrats on becoming a grandma. Between hubby and I, we have 5 kids. Just our daughters are married and have kids, we have 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. We have 3 boys who aren't married yet so we might end up with a lot of grandkids, which I think would be great.
