My DH is going through OK right now. He can take some of it off your hands if need be! LOL!

I'm thinking you hit the mother load, the father load & the grandmother load. Soooooo excited for you, but agree with the others - shake it out first, especially since you have to store it. I just hate those pesky little surprises (LOL). FYI - I can't imagine having to wait to see what you've got - that must be driving you crazy. ENJOY and who knows what God will have in store for you with all that wonderful fabric.

Wow! We think we have a lot and then BAM! someone has more than we could possibly collect! Looks like you will be going through it for a long time making new discoveries and imagining new quilts you will make. I don't think my husband would be as accommodating to receive that much fabric but I would certainly give it a try. Have fun going through it all. Maybe you'll have to add on a room just to hold it all! :)

It's awesome that it went to someone that will appreciate it. :) I'm sure the lady that had the fabric would have been happy it went to another quilter that would use it. :)

My husband would have been like WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH ALL OF THIS?!! He would be like-you know if you sew from now until you're 112 you won't use this much. Well, I'd sure try! LOL

What a blessing. Were I in your shoes, I would pay it forward and invite my friends to come help sort it out and share it. The groups who make charity quilts would love some and lots of people could benefit, and you would still have more than you could use. Our guild had lots of donations that they displayed on tables and told the members to take what they wanted and leave a donation for the guild fund. There will be lots of charity quilts made from them.
I am glad you were the recipient and not me, but that is how I would choose to do it. Blessing of love and wealth to you.

I'd say you have a very dear husband, who would go to pick up the fabric for you and now say "Now where are you going to put all this fabric?" I think he's a "keeper". I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your completed sewing room. What a treasure to receive.

Sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun putting all that stash away when your room is ready
