    I have rheumatoid arthritis, and the doctor says that sewing is great exercise for our hands. Heat and stretching are good before and after.

    Do you put mineral oil in with the paraffin? I can't remember the ratio now but that is what I used to do. I kept an old crock pot that I used just for this...on low setting it won't get so hot it would burn me.
