I need some info about where to find the large dishtowels that a now defunct LQS carried. These are just the right size to cut in half and make placemats, two together would make a nice apron etc. The are woven plaids, stripes and quickly become hostess gifts. They are approx. 20" by 28".
Christmas is not to far away and I want to get a good start on gifts.

I think our Hobby Lobby has them, do you have a HL?

My friend buys them by the bundle to embroider from Herschner's http://www.herrschners.com (they call them flour sack towels but they have other towels also in different sizes) or Ikea online http://www.ikea.com

I have used these towels. They are very nice and wash up very well.

Thank you all. I put quilter studio on the favorite list. There is a HL in Cleveland, Tn., will look next time I'm there. I now have a variety of them to choose from, thanks again.
