I have lots and lots of SW Fabrics and I do live in New Mexico so I guess I can be considered to live in the southwest. I have made many quilts with my fabric and continue to still do so. However my favorite all time fabric is 1930 prints. Enjoy your fabric.

I have a little I bought at Wal-Mart 5 years ago, before they remodeled and removed the sewing department. And yes, I am from the Southwest. Tucson, Arizona to be exact. I have lived in North/Central W.V. for the last 8 years and will return to Tucson when I retire this July.

I don't have southwest fabric in my stash and don't live in the southwest. However, my son loves the colors (not the lizards, cactus, etc.), just the colors. He was recently given a seminole patchwork book by a nother board member. He has also done a drawing that he wants made into a quilt, with southwest colors, and the seminole patchwork borders. So I am on the hunt for those colors, but not necessarily the pictographs, and other southwest symbols.

I have some leftover from a project I did for a southwest lover. I also have a half yard each of 2 sw fabrics that a friend recently gave me.... I believe it is the fabric she bought when we went to Arizona in 1988, but I may be wrong... will have to dig it out and see if there is a date on it.

I have lots of Southwest Fabrics and have made some quilts with others that I have had. Really love the colors and the whole feeling of that area of the country. No I don't live there but really wish I could. Jo
