There are many prints called South West that show people dressed in a mix of different tribal clothing or a mix of actual South West items and Plains and then it's called Navajo. I am not making Fabric a political issue.....just my observations about the Native American/SouthWest lines. So I pretty much stick to the general geometric patterns I find here and there.

Here is an interesting article about kokopelli:

Thank you for site. I never really knew too much about it. I agree about the fabric designs.

I live in the summer in Illinois and the winter in Texas. I love the southwest fabric and have several and am looking for more and different. I am thinking of making a bow tuck tote with some and a table topper too.

I'm in NJ and I have a TON of southwestern fabrics. I have bunches of Kokopelli and some Native American themed ones. I'm Lenape and Creek.

I have Southwest fabric that I bought while on vacation in Arizona a couple years ago. Love the colors but have yet to do anything with it!

I have a couple of pieces of Southwest fabric, it is really hard to find around here where I live, I sure wish that I could find a lot more of it, I love Southwestern fabric. If anyone knows where I can find it would you please let me know. Thanks

I have several pieces, but I live in the Southwest (New Mexico) and my sister likes southwest decor. I'm collecting to make a quilt for her.
