    Well, I actually kinda enjoy hand quilting. (Pick yourself up off the floor, k3n!) But it is WAY too slow for me, and that is the ONLY thing I've ever hand quilted.

    I tried using commercial embroidery thread made by isacord one time for free motion practice and it worked and looked really good it was a metallic blue color. Chris
