Hi! I have a Spartan sewing machine that has a tension problem. When you sew a seam it doesn't sew. The two threads don't mesh together. Any things I can try? Thanks!

a good cleaning, new needle, re-thread and start with a newly wound bobbin.... if those steps don't do it it probably needs to -go in - for repairs...but chances are cleaning under the bobbin area, and a new needle will do the trick. good luck!

See if your needle is turned the wrong way or if you have the wrong needle in it. How old is it? Some older machines threaded from front to back, others from the inside to the out. Try turning your needle a quarter turn at a time until you hit the right mark.
